FRAMING CENTRAL EUROPE
June 27th – July 1st (Monday–Friday) 2022 Warsaw Summer School organized by
4EU+ Alliance and College of Central European Studies,
hosted by the University of Warsaw
ORGANIZATIONAL NOTES
The Summer School will take place in Warsaw, and it is open to PhD and MA
students from the 4EU+ Alliance Universities (Charles University, Sorbonne
University, University of Milan, University of Heidelberg, and University of
Warsaw). The students will have a chance to participate in a series of lectures,
workshops, and seminars that will be devoted to the topic of Central Europe and
will deal with questions such as cultural institutions; literature; cultural constructs
in language; politics of culture; war experience; life writing; life stories and
shared experience; relation to local, national, and/or religious identity.
All lectures and events during the Summer School will be held in English.
COSTS
Participants from 4EU+ Alliance universities will be funded from 4EU+ College
for Central European Studies to cover travel and accommodation expenses. For
more information, please contact your local 4EU+ Local Office.
ACCOMODATION
The travelling students arrange the an accommodation by themselves. The guest

SUBMISSION
Deadline for submission: June 10th, 2022 (12pm). Each University autonomously
establishes the evaluation procedures.
