ERASMUS+ traineeship for students, graduates and doctoral candidates

In addition to partial study periods abroad, students, graduates, and doctoral candidates of the University of Warsaw can benefit from the opportunity to undertake international traineeships co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme. The following forms of traineeships are available:

  • long-term traineeships, organised on an individual basis (at least 60 programme days);
  • short-term blended traineeships, organised on an individual or group basis (up to 30 programme days);
  • blended intensive programmes.

All current information and relevant application forms concerning international traineeships are available on the website of the University of Warsaw Office for International Relations (https://bwz.uw.edu.pl/en/erasmus/).

Applicants interested in undertaking a traineeship are kindly requested to familiarise themselves with the detailed information contained in the general selection rules and in the step-by-step guide for scholarship applicants.

Please note that:
a) it is the student’s responsibility to obtain an invitation to undertake an Erasmus+ traineeship from a specific host institution abroad (for those who have not yet selected a traineeship location, the Office provides a questionnaire designed to assist with this choice: http://bwz.uw.edu.pl/praktyki-erasmus-zglos-sie/);
b) no examinations or interviews are required for students who obtain such an invitation;
c) the traineeship programme must be consistent with the field of study and must develop the linguistic, translation, or teaching competences of the student, graduate, or doctoral candidate;
d) after obtaining the signatures of the IKSI Mobility Coordinator and the Director of the Institute on the required documents (the list of which is provided in the step-by-step guide for scholarship applicants), the applicant should contact the University of Warsaw Office for International Relations, which fully supervises the subsequent procedure.

Please be advised that the grade obtained for an Erasmus+ international traineeship does not constitute a basis for crediting courses at IKSI.
