
The Institute of Specialized and Intercultural Communication has established a partnership with memoQ – one of the leading providers of software for translation and language project management. Through this collaboration, students and staff of IKSI gain access to professional tools used on a daily basis in the translation industry. The memoQ software enables, among other things, working with translation memories, managing terminology databases, and effective collaboration within project teams.

We would like to thank Phrase for granting the Institute of Specialised and Intercultural Communication at the University of Warsaw the access to the Phrase Localization Platform. The Academic Plan is a dedicated academic program designed to enhance translation and localization education and support universities in training the next generation of language professionals.
The Institute of Specialized and Intercultural Communication has established a partnership with the Austrian company Kaleidoscope, which offers access to the terminology management software Quickterm. The software, available “in the cloud,” enables, among other things, the creation of terminology entries — including those with equivalents in foreign languages — work in various roles, and in its advanced versions, also the verification of texts for the use of preferred terminology.
